Globe University -- Woodbury's Center for Academic Excellence is located in room number 200. It is a place for all Globe/MSB students to work with our facuty tutor Lorissa Gottschalk. She can assist students with writing and researching papers, consulting the dictionaries and textbooks on our reference shelf, and finishing up and printing online coursework on one of our computers. The Center also holds weekly lunch hour workshops that cover academic skills that may not be addressed in classes. Topics include:
- Time Management
- Motivation
- Note Taking
- Research Skills
- Creative Writing
- Stress Management
- And much, much more!
Hours vary but are typically within 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Be sure and check the door for the current hours!
Minnesota School of Business -- Blaine has a very helpful Student Services Coordinator who can answer all your questions! Chris Holland is your connection to finding help with tutors and all things academic. Give her a call at 763-225-8000 to find how she can help.
Minnesota School of Business -- Plymouth students will find The Think Pad on campus. It is located in room 202 next to the library. It is equipped with a Xerox machine, computers and printers. The Think Pad is also staffed during the day with tutors. No appointments are necessary -- just stop by. If any of these hours do not work with your schedule, please see Student Services to request a one-on-one tutor. All services are free of charge!
Minnesota School of Business -- Richfield has two separate locations to serve your writing and math needs. The Writing Center is staffed by instructors and graduate level students who are experts at writing. You can stop by during any of the posted hours to get some help with any writing project for any class. The Math Center at Richfield is designed to support all students' math needs. Stop by any time during the posted hours to meet Gretchen, the math tutor. She is looking forward to it!

Minnesota School of Business -- Rochester offers students a Writing Lab and a Math Lab, located on the 2nd floor. It is staffed by a full-time composition instructor and math instructor. Students can stop by during any of the posted hours or sign up for an appointment:

Minnesota School of Business -- Saint Cloud asks that students who need a little extra help in their classes see Dana in Student Services. Dana will help set you up with a tutor or refer you to Betsy Ahrens or Frank Ayers, who both help out with any math questions. If you are seeking any sort of writing assistance, help with citations, or a quick proofread of papers, please contact Neil or Brent in the library.
