No one wants to take out a loan, but we recognize that loans have been become necessary for most students to fund their education. In order to reduce cost of borrowing as much as possible, Globe University/Minnesota School of Business encourages all students to take advantage of the benefits of the Federal Loan programs, which include the following:

If additional funding is needed, Globe University/Minnesota School of Business has numerous alternative loan options. Since the alternative loans are offered from private lenders, a credit check will be done to determine a student’s eligibility. If you use alternative loans, we recommend using a cosigner to ensure acceptance and get the best rates possible.

Steps to complete the loan process:

1.     Complete Loan Entrance Counseling. 

You must complete entrance counseling prior to applying for a Stafford Loan. Entrance counseling will provide you with an overview of the rights, responsibilities and provisions of the Stafford Loan program. We recommend that you complete the entrance counseling at your earliest opportunity, as it is a required before the loans can be approved. Once the student has completed the counseling process, the Financial Aid Office will receive electronic notification that counseling has been completed. Loan applications will NOT be processed until we have received confirmation.

2.     Complete the Loan Application(s)

All loan applications can now be completed online by selecting your campus from the list below. If you need assistance selecting a lender, please contact your campus financial aid office. Although the financial aid office can not recommend a specific lender, we may be able to help narrow your choices and help you make a more informed decision. The tabs at the top of the form will allow you to apply for whatever loan types you need.

Before graduating, you will also need to undergo Student Loan Exit Counseling.
