Professional experience and educational background
I am celebrating my tenth anniversary with Globe University/Minnesota School of Business this fall and hold a Master’s degree in Higher Education Leadership. My work experience includes eighteen years in business management and educational leadership. I have worked in both residential and online formats and love the opportunity to work with students from both formats in my current role.
Personal interests
In my free time, I enjoy outside activities including biking, jogging, boating, swimming, horseback riding, golfing, cross country skiing and I spend a fair amount of time on the sidelines of various soccer and football fields. I am a voracious reader and love to stay busy. My husband and I have a 15 year old son, 12 year old daughter and a Portuguese Water Dog named Rio. Happy chaos is the normal state of affairs at home.
Why you enjoy working at MSB?
I love working at GU/MSB because the institution truly values each individual and recognizes the investment that each student is making in their own future. I have attended 37 graduation ceremonies in my time at the institution and each ceremony renews my enthusiasm for higher education and for our students. Supporting students in building their futures is fun and exciting every single day.
Why you believe in online education?
Online education has opened the opportunity of higher education to a diverse population. Our classes are filled with students of all backgrounds and geographical areas with various personal and professional experiences. I hear from students each quarter who love the fact that they are in the driver’s seat of their own education.
