Connect with a Tutor Online

Smarthinking is an online tutoring service offered by Globe University/Minnesota School of Business. Smarthinking provides tutoring on a variety of subjects available, up to 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

With Smarthinking you can:

Connect With an e-structor and interact with a live tutor.
Submit your Writing for any class to the Online Writing Lab.
Submit a Question and receive a reply from a tutor.

Smarthinking tutors are available to assist in a wide range of topics including:

Writing	Accounting	Economics	Finance
Math	Statistics	Science	Spanish

Getting Started

Accessing SMARTHINKING is simple!

Once you have logged in to your online course:

On the left side of the course, select the tools link.
Turn off pop-up blockers.
Select the smarthinking icon/name
You will now see your Smarthinking homepage where you can select an option. Your name should appear at the top of this page like: Welcome Brian...
If additional assistance is needed, call the helpdesk (1-877-862-0662).

Troubleshooting Tips:

Make sure that your browser is set up to allow cookies and pop-up windows.
SMARTHINKING uses both of these.
Make sure that you have Java installed. If you need to install Java, go to http://www.java.com, and follow the instructions for the free download.
Make sure that you have Flash? version 7.0.19+of for Windows or 7.0.24+ for Mac OS X installed. If you need to install Flash?, go to http://www.macromedia.com, and follow the instructions for the free download.
