Professional Work Experience
Globe University/Minnesota School of Business offers qualified students an opportunity to obtain credit for previous experience in which occupational, supervisory or management skills were obtained in industry, business, military, professional and service occupations. Advance Standing Tests
Advance standing tests may be requested and arranged through the education department and must be taken before the beginning of the quarter that course would be required. Not all courses have an advanced standing test. See a complete list of advanced standing tests currently available.
If you would like to attempt a test out, please complete a test out application and return it to John Birkland.
We also have general information on the KY100 Keyboarding I test out. You can practice the "10 key skill" portion of the test by downloading this program.
Prior Learning Assessment
Globe University/Minnesota School of Business will determine if learning received outside of the traditional college classroom prior to enrollment at GU/MSB is equivalent to academic curriculum and eligible for college credit. For additional information, please read the prior learning packet and get a prior learning application.
